Professional TV Mounting & Installation

A big screen should look like it was designed into the room. We mount large-format TVs perfectly level and centered, at the height that's comfortable from your seat, with wires concealed. Text us a photo of the wall and it's handled, often the same day.

TV Mounting, done to our standard

Our TV mounting service covers everything from a 55-inch bedroom set to an 85-inch-plus living-room centerpiece. We find the studs, check what's behind the wall, measure twice and laser-level the bracket before the screen goes up. Then we dress the cables so nothing dangles, and we leave the room the way we found it.

If you've already bought a mount, we'll install it. If you haven't, tell us the TV model and the wall, and we'll talk through fixed, tilting and full-motion options when we quote.

What's included

  • Stud location and wall check before drilling
  • Laser-leveled bracket, centered on the wall, furniture or fireplace
  • Viewing-height planning from your actual seating position
  • Cable management: in-wall concealment, a raceway, or a tidy route behind furniture
  • Soundbar, streaming box and wall-plate installation
  • Two-person handling for large-format screens
  • Drop cloths, dust capture while drilling, and full cleanup
  • A final walkthrough to check the picture, the inputs and the remote

Our standard

Our founder is a self-described perfectionist, and every TV mounting job is held to his standard: measured twice, laser-leveled where it matters, finished cleanly, and reviewed with you in a final walkthrough. We arrive on time, protect your floors and finishes, and leave no dust behind.

Common jobs

TV wall mount installation on any wall

Drywall over wood or metal studs

Most mounts go into wood studs with lag bolts. Metal studs, or a TV that needs to sit between studs, call for hardware rated for that wall, and we'll explain what we're using and why.

Plaster and lath

Many older Bethesda and Chevy Chase homes have plaster walls. We drill carefully to avoid cracking, anchor into framing, and patch any marks so they disappear.

Brick, stone and fireplaces

TV mounting over a fireplace means masonry anchors, a heat check on the mantel, and a plan for the wires. We'll talk through viewing angle and pull-down mounts if the screen would otherwise sit too high.

Large-format and Frame TVs

85-inch and larger screens are heavy and wide, so they need to land exactly on center. Samsung's The Frame and other flush mounts need precise spacing so the TV sits tight to the wall like artwork.

Hide TV wires in the wall

For a clean look we use in-wall power and cable kits designed for TV installs. Code doesn't allow a regular power cord inside the wall. If you need a brand-new outlet, our licensed electrical partners handle it.

Full-motion, tilting and fixed mounts

Full-motion arms for corner rooms and kitchens, tilting mounts for higher placements, and low-profile fixed mounts for a sleek, gallery-like line.

Cable management

Hide TV wires: in the wall or in a paintable raceway

Where in-wall concealment isn't practical (concrete, brick, or a rental), we run a slim, paintable raceway, cut square, tight to the baseboard and painted to disappear into the wall. Either way, no cables dangle.

Questions

TV Mounting FAQ

Is there same-day TV mounting near me?

Yes. If you're in Bethesda, Silver Spring, Potomac, McLean, Great Falls or Washington, DC, our TV mounting service is often available the same day. Text a photo of the wall to (202) 438-6197.

What's the right height for an 85-inch TV?

It depends on your seating distance and eye level more than the screen size. As a starting point we aim for the middle of the screen near seated eye level, then fine-tune it for your room before we drill.

Can you mount a TV over a fireplace?

Usually, yes. We check the masonry or framing, the heat coming off the mantel and the viewing angle. If the screen would end up too high, we'll suggest a pull-down mount.

Can you hide the wires inside the wall?

Yes. We use in-wall kits designed for TVs, which keeps the job up to code. If you need a new outlet behind the TV, our licensed electrical partners take care of it.

Do I need to buy the mount?

Not necessarily. If you have one, we'll install it. If you don't, tell us the TV model when you request a quote and we'll go over the right type of mount.

Can you install a soundbar at the same time?

Yes. We mount the soundbar centered under the screen, route its cables with the TV's, and make sure everything works before we leave.

Ready for TV mounting without the hassle?

One text and it's handled. Same-day, 24/7, always on time.
