For house managers, estates & family offices
A Discreet Handyman for House Managers and Estates
Standing service, priority scheduling and one point of contact for estate homes in Bethesda, Potomac, Chevy Chase, McLean, Great Falls and DC. We work quietly, keep your list moving and invoice the way your office prefers.
- Always on time
- Same-day, 24/7
- Locally owned, not a franchise
Built around the people who run the house
House managers, estate managers and family offices have enough moving parts. A loose cabinet hinge, a picture to rehang after the painters, a TV for the guest suite, caulk in the primary bath and a fixture swap shouldn't each need a new vendor. We take the whole list, schedule it around the household and report back when it's done.
We work in occupied homes with care: arrival windows kept, staff and family privacy respected, floors and finishes protected, and every room left as we found it, only better. Hang & Patch is locally owned and has served the DMV since 2016.
How it works
- Standing or recurring service. Weekly, biweekly or monthly visits that work through a shared running list.
- Priority scheduling. Standing clients get first call on our calendar for urgent items and before events or arrivals.
- A single point of contact. One person who knows your properties, preferences and gate codes.
- Fully insured, COI on request. We provide a certificate of insurance to buildings, property managers and house managers on request, and keep each property's requirements on file.
- Discreet, consistent team. The same small team, quiet and professional, who respect privacy inside the home.
- Invoicing your way. Bills to the estate, family office or management company, itemized by property and visit.
- Licensed trades coordinated. Electrical work by licensed electrician partners, scheduled by us.

Questions
House manager FAQ
Can you set up recurring visits for our properties?
Yes. Many households prefer a standing weekly, biweekly or monthly visit. We keep a running list with your house manager and work through it each time.
Who will we deal with?
One point of contact who knows your properties, your preferences and your list, so you don't have to re-explain anything.
Can you meet our buildings' and HOAs' insurance requirements?
Yes. Hang & Patch is fully insured, and we provide a certificate of insurance (COI) to each building, HOA or property manager on request. We keep each property's requirements on file so the COI is in place before every visit.
Can you invoice our family office or estate directly?
Yes. We can invoice the estate, family office or management company directly, with each property and visit itemized.
Who comes to the house?
A small, consistent team who work discreetly, respect privacy, protect floors and finishes, and leave no mess behind.
Do you handle electrical work?
Electrical work such as fixtures, ceiling fans and EV chargers is performed by our licensed electrician partners. We coordinate it so you still deal only with us.
